After the weekend’s FA Cup Fifth round ties and today’s Quarter Final draw, Chelsea are still the clear favourites with Coral to lift the FA Cup at 7/4. Manchester United follow at 10/3, Arsenal are 4/1 and Tottenham, who play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Quarter Final are 12/1.
Manchester United or Reading will travel to the winners of the Middlesborough v West Brom replay, whilst Manchester City will travel to Blackburn or Arsenal. Plymouth take on Watford in the other Quarter Final.
It’s hard to not follow the bookies and go with Chelsea, but Spurs won’t be an easy game and The Blues have already lost to Tottenham this season. Watford should be able to see off Plymouth, but it may depend on each team’s priority (relegation or promotion) on how they approach the match.
The other games are dependent on replays, and it’s not unfeasible that the Sixth round could kick off with Chelsea clear favourites and the team they take on, Spurs, second favourites, if Arsenal and Manchester United both fall at the replay stage.
